Once Upon a Plaid is a sweet historical romance that shows how a married couple who truly love each other can still have trouble finding their happily ever after. Kat and William have what most want in a marriage, all except the one thing that they want more than anything else. There's nothing that William won't do for his beloved bride and sets out to prove to Kat that she is what makes him happy even without the promise of an heir.
Mia Marlowe writes in a way that brings the reader completely into the story. This is a wonderful read with a winter/Christmas backdrop but would be an entertaining read anytime of year. Books like Once Upon a Plaid is why I continue to read and enjoy good historical romance.
