The DRAGON LORE SERIES is enjoyable paranormal romance. It incorporates dragon and Celtic lore, passion that is quickly ignited, along with a bit of adventure. The way that the dragons and their humans are bonded is a unique twist and gives a new spin on shifters.
In HIGHLAND SECRETS Angus and Arianrhod are paired to find out what is happening to the dragon shifters who are disappearing. Angus and Arianhod are both less than thrilled at being tossed together but their attraction quickly pulls them together. However, there are things that are keeping them apart that have to be resolved first. There are secrets, dangers, and lots of passion in this first installment.
In TO LOVE A HIGHLAND DRAGON Lachlan and his dragon Kheladin wake to find themselves in a completely different and more complicated time. Not only have the people changed but there's technology beyond their imaginations that are common place and unremarkable to everyone but them. Stumbling upon Maggie is their one saving grace in the beginning. Maggie has a unique perspective and is able to accept what she is figuring out about Lachlan much easier than the average person would have.
I enjoyed both books and am looking forward to reading book 3 DRAGON MAID which was just released October 5th. The sexual attraction in these stories happen pretty fast so there is definitely an element of insta lust, but don't let that discourage you! This series is wonderfully written, has depth, and the characters are all fleshed out well. The world building along with the added lore and magic makes you want to stay in the stories for as long as possible. The Dragon Lore series offers a storyline with substance to go along with the steamy romance and provided everything that I want in a paranormal romance.
