Walk Through Fire (Chaos #4) by Kristen Ashley Review

In WALK THROUGH FIRE Millie has sacrificed everything in order to give the man that she loved what she thought that he wanted most out of life. However, she does this without discussing it with him or giving him an opportunity to work things through with her. She makes a life changing and emotionally damaging decision all on her own without including the one person that will be affected the most by the decision. I don't agree with the decision she made but I understand it. Millie's suffering, although self inflicted, is no less damaging. Knowing that she had what was her true love and let it go, she knew that no other man would be able to fill his space in her heart. I felt for Millie, I really did, but her decision and actions drove me crazy.

I have to say that I was totally on High's side because Millie took away his choices when they were younger. Yes, Millie was young and thought that she was doing the right thing but it just wasn't. However, Millie paid dearly for her actions and her suffering was long term. High did treat her roughly in the beginning, but in true KA style, he more than proved himself worthy down the line. Even in anger, hurt, and disappointment High and Millie are explosive together and can't keep their distance; which makes for the super steamy encounters! There is another side to High that is explored as well. High loves his children and works hard to give them everything that they need from a father. Even after leaving a passionless marriage that was more cold and ambivalent than contentious he manages to maintain a good relationship with his daughters and a civil relationship with his ex wife.  High is a good dad and that is nothing but sexy and sigh inducing; especially when coming from a rough and gruff biker!

WALK THROUGH FIRE is another believing that true love will find a way page tuner that I can see myself rereading again and again.

Happy Reading!
