Day nine of African American nonfiction features BLACK INDIANS by William Katz. There's a rich but complicated history between African American and Native Americans in Americans history. There is both positive and some negative history between these two groups of people, but there is a common thread of disenfranchisement and cruelty during the building of America that will forever connect their histories.
