What is it about a tall, dark, brooding man with ancient demons residing within him that makes for such great reading? Everything. Moning is one of my favorite romance authors and she doesn't disappoint in this one. Dageus is a Druid and the brother of Drustan from Kiss of the Highlander. Dageus did something that he shouldn't have in order to save his brother and as a result 13 evil spirits reside in him and Dageus is frantically trying to find a way to get rid of them by searching ancient tomes in New York city. While acquiring and "borrowing" these books from museums, he meets Chloe Zanders. Chloe is a scholar with a weakness for old things and Dageus is a very old Scottish thing that she can't help being attracted to despite their less than ideal meeting. The only things that allows Dageus to reign in the power that wants to take him over is through large amounts of "tooping" and now his ideal woman is right at his fingertips and he has to fight to keep his honor and not simply take what he so badly wants. That's right ladies, the best way to tame the savage beast is to do the dance with no pants. This is my favorite book in this series.
