Wildest Dreams (Fantasyland Series) by Kristen Ashley Review

This is book one in the Fantasyland series by Kristen Ashley and boy is it a winner! I was told about this book from a friend of mine who knows me well and we share very similar tastes in books. This book has checked all of my romance boxes: (1) it has paranormal/fantasy theme, (2) it has fully developed characters and story line, (3)the heroine is strong and capable with a good sense of humor, (4)the love scenes are just steamy enough without going too far, (5) it's part of a series that is very open ended, (6) it's very well written, (7) it's not a piddly little book it's a very respectable 464 pages, and (8) all of the books so far are under $5! They are each $3.99 at Amazon at the time I am publishing this.

This first story is about Seoafin "Finnie" Wilde who discovers that there exists a parallel world where her parents are still alive and it's possible for her to trade places with her doppelganger. Finnie naively yet courageously takes the plunge and finds herself being forced to marry a stranger who turns out to be The Drakkar and she has to learn all on her own exactly what that means. Frey Drakkar is not best pleased to be marrying who he thinks is Princess Sjofn either and from there the adventure begins. I really like the way that Ashley has written her characters and her dialogue and descriptions left me very happy. This series is a gem and a bargain to boot! You can't go wrong with any of them!

Happy Reading!
