This classic Lindsey book is the first in a trilogy that she first
released back in the early 1990's. It is one of those romance books that
you can go back to every few years and enjoy all over again. If you
like romances with a little "boom boom pow" but not overly graphic
details this is a good one. Tedra's home planet is invaded by a viking
like warrior race and she is forced to escape on a warship that has a
personality all it's own. As Tedra travels the universe she finds the
home planet of the race of warriors that invaded her planet and decides
to try to enlist their help in freeing her planet. A chance encounter
with Challen quickly changes her plans and the story takes off from
there. The story is entertaining and it's a good page turner. The second
book is the story of Tedra and Challen's daughter, Shanelle and the
third (my least favorite) is the story of their son Dalden.
