My love of romances started with historical romance novels. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Scotland and have read more than my fair share of books featuring a Scottish laird.  I've always loved Scotland even before I visited; and after actually travelling there my love for it has only grown. It's a breathtaking country and the people are awesome. Combine historical Scotland, strong alpha men in kilts, and the story telling prowess of Maya Banks and you have a winning combination.
