In this newest book by Jac Wright we are taken into the world of successful and confident Jac Connor. All is well in Jac Connor's world; he has a lucrative and fulfilling career as an electrical engineer, a wealthy wife, a beautiful home by the sea, and an all round enviable life. Yet things begin to unravel when his pregnant mistress is murdered and he is arrested for her murder. Although, it is hard to feel sympathy for a cheating husband who gets his mistress pregnant, it wouldn't be right for a man pay for a murder that he did not commit. This is not the genre that I usually read however I found that this murder mystery thriller was an enjoyable read. It is also a fairly quick read at under 300 pages and if you enjoy a murder mystery with plenty of twist and turns The Reckless Engineer is well worth giving at try. There are a lot of characters and details to keep up with, but Wright manages to keep the story flowing through it all. It is priced at $2.99 at Amazon, definitely a good buy.
