This was a wonderful paranormal read. Heaton manages to create a world that feels real and encompasses just about every super natural creature you could want. This first book in the Eternal Mates series opens up a cast of characters that you can easily imagine expanding the series further. Although the main characters of Loren and Olivia are the focus of book one, Heaton leads the reader into wanting to experience more of Bleu, Sable and the Demon King (book 2), and even Kyter the jaguar shifter who owns the night club for the other worldly creatures in London.
This is a very well developed story with plenty of substance as well as steaminess. If you are looking for a paranormal series to start that hasn't already gotten too far ahead of you but holds lots of promise for many more stories, pick up a copy of this very reasonably priced eBook. It's an enjoyable read with good dialogue and plot development that pulls you through without any lulls or valleys.
