Last Day of My Life by Lani Lynn Vale Review

I love second chance romances and Last Day of My Life is a second chance romance with a difference. The book begins with a sudden and intense love between Jack and Winter. However, a traumatic event occurs and the reader is taken 7 years in the future when they meet again under stressful and unusual circumstances. This isn't a quick simple read, it's complicated and there are lots of characters to keep straight, but is well worth the effort. Being book 4 in the Freebirds series doesn't take away from the readability of Last Day of My Life as a stand alone title. However, there are dynamics and characters leading up to this book that I wish that I was privy to before jumping into this one that probably would have helped me to keep the story line straight in my mind. The only problem is that now I want to go back and read the books leading up to this one. Last Day of My Life has a complex story line, humor, action, and sexy steaminess.
