Shadows in the Water by Kory M. Shrum

I was thrilled last week when author Kory Shrum contacted me to say that I had won one of her giveaway prizes! I am reading more and more thriller/mystery/detective books and Shadows In The Water looks to be right up my alley. Not only is it a thriller, but it has paranormal elements that ya'll know speaks to me! I am looking forward to getting around to reading this one. This is not Shrum's first book and I believe that I have been missing out on some paranormal/urban fantasy/thriller book goodness. I've looked up reviews on Goodreads on this book and Shrum's Jesse Sullivan/ Dying for a Living series, and they sound like books that I would enjoy.

But wait, I didn't only win a signed print copy of Shadows In The Water, but I also received five candles. I love candles, and I am so happy to say that these candles smell amazing. I mean all five of these candles smell great. The candles were custom made by A Court of Candles to accompany the Shadows in the Waters series. The two that are tied for the best smell for me are Louie's Secret, a combination of Evening Jasmine, Deep Water, and Shadows; and King's Case, a combination of Beignets and Coffee. I took the top off of King's Cross and it has my office smelling amazing. They smell so good that after they are gone I am going to try and match up those scents in another candle made by A Court of Candles so that I can order more. Yes, these candles smell that good!

If you are interested in these amazing smelling candles check out A Court of Candle's website. They custom make candles that correspond with popular books & shows. They also sell teas and bathing accessories.
