Mystery Man is a perfect example of why I love Kristen Ashley's books. Few writers could make me understand and connect with a woman who willfully and regularly allows a man who she doesn't have a relationship with into her home and bed. That's not even the crazy part! Gwen doesn't know Mystery Man's name, what he does, where he lives, or even his phone number. Mystery Man simply makes middle of the night appearances in her bedroom at his discretion and gives her what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants to give it to her. But stars above, Ashley makes this crazy behavior work!
Gwen is a book editor and survivor of a bad marriage and a crazy sister. When Gwen's sister's craziness spills over into her life, Gwen's Mystery Man, Cabe “Hawk” Delgado, makes an appearance in her daytime life and changes Gwen's world forever. Hawk is my kind of alpha and what I have come to depend on Ashley to deliver in her male characters. Hawk is competent, assertive, territorial, a sometimes jerk, but one that gives one hundred percent of himself once committed. Mystery Man is a good story with all of the sweet steaminess and easy readability that I can count on from a Kristen Ashley book. This one is definitely going onto my favorites list!

And as all this happens, Gwen finds that her sister’s troubles are serious trouble and she must decide who to keep alive: her sister-from-hell or the man of her dreams.
