This is not your typical feel good Christmas romance. Cole and his younger brother Jase have both survived the abuse and tyranny of their now deceased father at a great cost to them both. Their new and tenuous relationship is quickly tested when things begin to happen on the ranch that gives Cole and Jase reason to question each other's motives. Facing a new threat Cole and Jase have to learn to trust one another in a way that neither has ever been able to manage with anyone before. Cole being the oldest has taken on the responsibility of raising his fourteen year old brother while still combating the demons that linger even after their father's murder. Returning to the home that holds so many nightmares for him has not been easy, but Cole is determined to try to give Jase a better life than he had growing up.
The Christmas season is not an easy time of year for either Steele brother and with a new threat emerging they will need all of the help that they can get. Making new and positive memories together is something that Cole is determined to give to his younger brother. After an incident that brings them into immediate and close contact with Maia, the local traveling veterinarian, the Steele brothers are set on the path to healing and moving forward with their new lives. Maia is a veterinarian with a special gift that makes her the perfect person to help Cole and Jase come to appreciate the strength and support that they can find with each other.
This is a quick and a bit disturbing Christmas read. However, if you are looking for a Christmas story that's a bit darker and different from the traditional Christmas romances with a slight paranormal twist Rocky Mountain Miracle will fit the bill.
Happy Reading!
